Frequently asked

Booking Flash

Everything you might want to know before booking the UK's definitive Queen tribute band — pricing, setlists, travel, production and the small print.

How do I book Flash for an event?
Email admin@flashtribute.co.uk or call/WhatsApp 07511 861780 with your date, venue and approximate audience size. We'll come back to you — usually within an hour — with availability and a tailored quote.
How much does it cost to book a Queen tribute band like Flash?
Fees vary depending on the date, location, technical requirements and type of show you need. Send us your date, location and the kind of event you're planning and we'll reply with a no-obligation quote.
What areas do you cover?
Flash is based in the UK and performs nationwide — England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland — as well as across Europe and further afield. We regularly travel for weddings, festivals, corporate events and theatre tours.
How long does Flash play for?
Our standard offering is two 45-minute sets or one continuous 90-minute show, but we can tailor anything from a 30-minute festival headline slot up to a full two-hour theatre production with multiple costume changes.
What songs are in your setlist?
Every Queen anthem you'd expect — Bohemian Rhapsody, Don't Stop Me Now, Radio Ga Ga, Somebody to Love, We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions, Killer Queen, Under Pressure, A Kind of Magic and more. We can also build a bespoke setlist around your favourites.
Do you perform Queen's Live Aid set?
Yes — we offer a faithful, beat-for-beat recreation of Queen's legendary 1985 Live Aid performance, including the iconic costuming and stage moves. It's one of our most-requested theatre shows.
How many people are in the band?
There are five musicians performing with Flash, covering Freddie, Brian, Roger, John and — as per Queen themselves — a keyboard player covering Spike Edney.
Do you bring your own sound and lighting?
Yes. For most events we provide a full professional PA, stage lighting and engineer. For festivals and theatres we'll happily work with your in-house production team and tech rider.
How much space do you need on stage?
Ideally 5m wide x 3m deep for the full show, but we can scale down for smaller venues. Let us know the dimensions when enquiring and we'll confirm what's possible.
Can you learn a special song for a first dance or surprise?
Absolutely — first dances, anniversary songs and surprise requests are part of what makes a wedding or private event memorable. Ask us when you enquire and we'll let you know what's feasible.
Do you have public liability insurance and PAT-tested equipment?
Yes — Flash carries £10 million public liability insurance and all equipment is annually PAT tested. Certificates are available on request for venues that require them.
How far in advance should I book?
For Fridays and Saturdays between May and December, six to twelve months ahead is sensible. Midweek and off-peak dates often come together at shorter notice — it's always worth asking, even last-minute.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes — a 10% deposit secures the date, with the balance due ahead of the performance. Full terms are sent with every quote.
What makes Flash different from other Queen tribute bands?
Stadium-scale musicianship, faithful vocal and visual likeness, and a properly produced live show rather than a karaoke run-through. We've built our reputation on theatre tours, festival headline slots and high-end private events across the UK and Europe.
